Oct 29, 2025 Welcome, Kayla!
Join us in welcoming our newest team member, Kayla Parker! Kayla joins us in the Yakima office as part of our client service team. She graduated from Washington State University (WSU) with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

We asked Kayla to share a little about herself below:
1. What would your perfect weekend look like?
My perfect weekend would be spending time camping with my friends and family. Whether it is heading up to the mountains or setting up by the Columbia River to enjoy some boating, I love being outdoors, especially with my friends and family. Quality time with loved ones is what makes the weekend truly perfect.
2. What brought you to the city/town where our office is located?
I was born and raised in Yakima, WA, so I’ve always stayed close to home. I now live in Naches, WA, and I really enjoy the small-town atmosphere while still being a short drive from Yakima.
3. Do you have a favorite holiday?
I love celebrating the 4th of July. I am very patriotic! I also love celebrating Halloween. I love seeing all the different costumes that everyone comes up with!
4. What are some of your favorite local spots to visit?
a. Kyoto’s for Sushi! (on Washington near 24th)
b. JJ’s Birria for Mexican Food! (3rd & Mead)
c. The Laredo for the best burgers in town! (Naches on Hwy 12)
5. How do you take your coffee?
I do not like coffee, but I do love sugar-free Red Bull
6. What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?
The best concert I’ve ever been to was a festival I attended in Remond, OR, this past July called the Farewell Festival. It featured a variety of new and upcoming country music artists, which made it especially exciting. I loved that I was able to see so many different performers all in one place, rather than attending multiple separate concerts. It was such a fun experience!
7. What’s the best trip you’ve ever been on and why?
The best trip I’ve ever taken was to Nashville in the spring of 2024 with a group of friends. We went for a combined bachelor and bachelorette party for one of my closest friends, and it was such a great experience. It was my second time visiting Nashville, and it is still my favorite place to travel. I love live music, and in Nashville, you can find it on every corner!
8. If you could pick any superpower, what would it be and why?
I would choose to fly so that I could travel anywhere I wanted at any time!
