Join Our Team Client Service Specialist

The Client Services Specialist is an integral part of our team, providing support to our investment advisor reps, while delivering the highest level of customer service to our clients. We may have openings in our Yakima and/or Richland offices.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $35,000 - 48,000/year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to client inquiries; ensuring all requests are responded to in a timely manner, accurately logged and tasks are created to ensure appropriate follow up.

  • Provide support to IAR on account related tasks including account set up, changes to existing accounts and updates for account paperwork.

  • Image, file and upload client documents and send notification to IAR upon completion.

  • Prepare and provide new client account paperwork to IAR for review in advance of new account opening appointments.

  • Create new client accounts within the New Client Portal.

  • Track all inbound transfers to ensure they are completed accurately and in full.

  • Process client deposits and withdrawal requests; direct to IAR as needed.

  • Set up new and perspective client contacts in Salesforce.

  • Communicates clients questions, concerns to IAR or manager as needed.

  • Provide ongoing support to IAR and management with administrative tasks; including but not limited to calendaring, scheduling and reporting.

Experience:

  • Maintaining large amounts of complex and confidential information 3-5 years ensuring data integrity.

  • Customer Service 3-5 years

  • Analytical and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment 1-2 years

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Vocational Degree preferred

  • Financial background, experience or college degree strongly preferred

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality

  • Interest and availability to work fixed hours in an office environment

Join Our Team Paraplanner

The Paraplanner supports financial advisors delivering financial planning and client service. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about personal finance and helping clients achieve financial wellness. The preferred candidate is either enrolled in or is prepared to enroll in a financial planning certification program. This role provides the opportunity to learn from a team of licensed professionals in a well-established, highly respected firm. Paraplanners meet with and present to clients alongside advisors. In addition, they interact with investment advisor representatives (IARs), financial planners, support staff, and the operations team daily.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $40,000-$65,000/year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Entering client data into financial planning software programs and spreadsheets.

  • Managing client information to ensure that electronic files are complete, organized, and secure.

  • Documenting progress and completed tasks in our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software with satisfactory detail so that other members of the firm can easily understand the current status.

  • Researching client-specific issues and communicating conclusions verbally and in writing to the team.

  • Helping to develop, document, and maintain financial planning processes and procedures.

  • Providing a variety of support to Investment Advisors and Financial Planners.

  • Preparing reports and analysis to be used by advisors in client meetings.

  • Aiding in reviewing financial strategies designed to help clients pursue their long-term goals.

  • Communicating with clients and interfacing with a variety of professionals inside and outside of the firm.

  • Managing and assisting in non-client, financial planning-related projects such as research on new best practices or relevant laws and regulations.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s from an accredited undergraduate college or university.

  • Previous work experience in financial planning/financial services, OR prior education in this field. (e.g., has already completed one or more CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ courses)
